Product of the Month: June

Sometimes an oldie is a goodie. My product of the months vary greatly as either they are brand new products in my collection which have really surprised and impressed me in the month, and sometimes I find myself rekindling my love with an old product which totally happened this month.

The Guerlain Météorites Pearl Powder Blush 'Light'* is a product I used to use religiously last Summer but during the Winter I found I needed thick powder and highlighters to work with my foundations. However, now that we're in Summer...well sort of, I'm waiting for the Sun to really confirm that I've been going back to my BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Serum and I've found myself reaching back for this product everyday.

Originally I used to use this as a finishing powder, on top of my setting powder to provide some illumination and glow to my face, however, at the moment I've just been skipping setting powders and going straight to this to set my face and I'm obsessed. Described as "a subtle blend of matte, rosy and radiant blue-toned white pearls, combined with corrective coloured pearls" I now, using a big fluffy powder blush, lightly dust this to my entire face. My BareMinerals base is such a glowy and hydrating product that I want to save that affect as much as possible and by adding these luminous pearls on top, instead of a powder, it leaves my face much more radiant.

Although not a cheap product by all means, I have to say I tend to use a lot less product than I normally would with a compact or loose blush as I've had these since April last year and have barely even made a dent and as you can see from the packaging it is totally luxurious and I will by no means throwing away this tin!

Let me know in the comments below if you've ever tried the Guerlain Météorites Pearl Powder Blush!
