Bath & Body Works Gingham Collection

On my Instagram I posted a photo of a Maybelline product that I am currently obsessed with but am SO SO gutted that we can't get in the UK and it made me think about all the wonderful products they've got in the States that sadly we can't get over in the UK *sob*. One of them which I know we have all been rooting to make it's way to the UK is Bath & Body Works. And why yes, I did buy 2 candles and carry them on my carry-on case for 2 flights. And yes, they did get swabbed every time at security. But it was worth it.

It's quite over whelming when walking into Bath & Body Works. I'm not someone who is really into overly sweet scents. The smell of pumpkin caramel marshmallow or whatever makes me want to huuuurl, but there are a couple of scents that I absolutely adore including Autumn, Autumn Woods and now Gingham. The Gingham collection is one I haven't heard about anywhere, but oh my god is it immense.

With notes of; Blue Freesia, White Peach, Fresh Clementine with Essential Oils this is a lovely fresh, linen, light yet also musky fragrance perfect for the living room and bedroom.

Gingham 3-Wick Candle - I was so lucky that not only did B&BW have $10 off their 3 wick candles, but we also had 20% additional, so we literally got these for like a bargain of $11 which is insanity when they are usually $24. Not only do I love packaging, which yes is a big part, I love all their candles because they last incredibly long. If you take care of the candles as well they burn so evenly and I've never had a problem of them smelling of ash etc.

Gingham Hand Cream  - I haven't ever tried a B&BW hand cream before but I am officially obsessed. This to me although has the same sort of fragrance as the candles, is that little bit more coconut/lotion smelling. With shea butter as it's main ingredient, it's so luxurious and moisturizing I'm obsessed!

Gingham Fine Fragrance Mist - If a candle isn't enough, a fragrance mist is a must. I think with this particular scent it's more of a fragrance mist as a room mist rather than a perfume. It's so interesting that the Gingham scent does change depending on the product. Rather than being lotion/butter scented, it's a bit more musty which I think might be down to the sweet citrus.

Let me know int he comments below what your favourite Bath and Body Works product is! Also can we petition to get Bath and Body Works finally in the UK?!

  4. I believe the Gingham collection came out sometime this summer? I should know, especially since there's a BBW just down the street from me :') I definitely can't deal with all the sweet scents that they have, but there are quite a few that are the best for the different seasons!!
