My Most Repurchased Skincare Products (Dry Skin)

So before Christmas I uploaded My Most Repurchased Makeup Products blog post and thought I'd share my most repurchased Skincare Products. I am a sucker for repurchasing skincare. I have such temperamental skin, and it's hella hella dry, and as a creature of habit, when something works, I stick to it.

My cleanser of choice is the Biore Charcoal Anti Blemish Cleanser. Oddly I was actually given this a while back as part of a campaign literally in April 2018, and it goes to show, that products in ADs are used as I have literally not used another cleanser since. I find that whenever I use any other cleansers, I come out in spots which is so odd seeing as I have dry skin so I find this is the only cleanser that fully cleanses my face feeling it sparkling clean.

For days when I think my skin needs a bit of rejuvination, which is either after a week of full makeup, or if I've gone somewhere really hot or even really cold, and my skin is having a bit of a freak out, the Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Skin Balancing Exfoliating Cleanser  is my go to. It is a very gentle exfoliation which just restores my skin back to normality. I only use this one every other week, quite rarely, but I find that Elizabeth Arden as a brand is perfect for my skin!

One product I notice the most difference if I don't use it for a week or so is the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Oil. I use this daily after cleansing, before moisturizing and for someone with dry skin, oils are just a life saver and in particular this one. This is a product that you need to give at least 2-3 months using before making your mind up on it, because you need to see the difference before using it every night, to missing it after a week to your skin. My skin looks more radiant and healthy when I use it.

I have tried and tested hundreds of moisturisers. As I said, dry dry skin. And I mean, flakey dry patches it's suppppeeerr attractive so finding a moisturiser that was both great for sensitive and dry skin was my mission. Clinique Moisture Surge tried it. Kiehl's Ultra Cream, tried it. I kept searching and low and after seeing KathleenLights my guru on all makeup for dry skin she had mentioned the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream and after trying it, I was hooked, and haven't used anything since. It's neither too heavy or too thin, it has never aggravated my skin and I don't see myself ever using anything else!

Another Elizabeth Arden product that is a holy grail is the Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream. If I'm ever suffering from really dry skin patches like in the Winter or suffering from dry lips, this is a life saver. I cannot stress enough how important it is for me to carry this around wherever I go. Sunburn? 8 Hour Cream? Dry Patch? 8 Hour Cream. It is a really thick balm, but a little bit goes a long way, and a lot of the time, I'll use it overnight and the next day my skin will already feel much better and moisturised. Also amazing for cuts/grazes and burns!
