I feel as if it's been an absolute age since I last uploaded a everyday makeup, which to be fair it was, October last year. I haven't massively switched up the main base of my makeup, as that's relatively stayed the same, I'm a sucker for continuity but I feel as if I'm so ready for Spring, that I've started introducing small brighter/lighter makeup bits in.
To start with I've been really enjoying the NYX Bare With Hydrating Jelly Primer. I do think I will need to repurchase a primer like the Charlotte tilbury Wonderglow or Mac Strobe Cream, as I prefer one that does add a sheen to my face, but at the moment this is hydrating and works a treat.
For foundation I've still been using the L'Oreal Infallible 24 Fresh Wear Foundation, but because I've recently come back from 8 days in Dominican Republic, I need a shade a little darker and also less heavy on my skin because my freckles have come through, so my trusty BareMinerals Complexion Rescue mixed in gives a much more comfortable base.
For base, my powder go-to has been the BareMinerals Mineral Veil. It's so lightweight on my skin and a little goes a long way setting my foundation down. I've really been enjoying the Sleek Makeup Rose Gold Blush, well known for being a dupe for Nars Orgasm. As you can see from the swatch it definitely needs a light hand, but I've really been enjoying all the glow recently. I've been obviously using the No7 Shimmer Palette 'Rose' for both my eyes but also as a bronzer/highlighter. Like I said, all the glow. For highlighter, throwing it back to OG's is the Thebalm Mary Lou Manizer . It's such a gorgeous champagne shimmer that I think I will always repurchase.
For eyes, it's been the same old with Maybelline Lash Sensational along with the Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner . I have noticed however recently when buying that mascara, that the stopper doesn't seem to work as well anymore and I get a lot of clumpy mascara product on my brush so I think I may have to find a new mascara, any recommendations let me know!
Lastly for lips, I've become obsessed with this new combination of Clinique products. For lipstick the Clinique Nude Pop and layering Clinique Pop Splash Lip Gloss 'Adore U' which has become one of my favourite lipglosses yet. It's absolutely stunning and is pigmented enough to wear on it's own, or layer on top of other shades but makes your lips look incredibly juice and full.
Let me know in the comments below what you've been wearing lately and also any mascara recommendations please!
