I don't know about you guys, but at the moment I feel like I've got about 90 thousand shows on the go that I'm watching. I just feel inundated with such great TV at the moment, that it's literally so hard to keep up.
Starting it off with a drama, White House Farm (ITV) is based on real life events that occurred in Essex in 1980. It follows the murder of a family, and is a real 'who dunnit' show. Obviously with it being a true life story, I'd already known a bit about this investigation so already know what happened/who did it, but I think crime dramas based on true life are some of the most fascinating.
I said I wasn't going to watch it. I refused. Instead, I've watched it all. When Winter Love Island (ITV2) started I said I couldn't commit to watching it every night for 6 weeks, and yet here I am. I actually went on a work trip for 8 days, meaning I missed out on 8 days, but fear not, I'm catching up. I have to say, I think 2 series a year is massive over kill, but clearly that hasn't stopped me!
New Amsterdam (Amazon Prime) is a hospital drama, v similar to your Grey's Anatomy, House and The Resident, but it follows a public hospital which is taken over by a new Director who is ready to shake things up. It's totally binge worthy and I haven't gotten into a hospital drama in a long time, and am really enjoying it!
Cheer (Netflix) follows a group of college student from Navarro College in the US as they go and compete in the National Cheerleading Championship held in Daytona. I got absolutely obsessed with this documentary-series and was just so surprised with the amount of stamina, skill and endurance.
I saw everyone posting about The Stranger (Netflix) on Twitter and literally kid you not, binged it ridiculously quickly. This is one of those shows I can't really explain mainly without spoiling any plot, and also because it's a bloody difficult plot but basically a 'stranger' goes around and starts revealing secrets to random people in a village, but are they just random or is it all connected? If you're into mystery/dramas definitely one for you!
Let me know if you've been watching any of the above and also any show recommendations, send them my way!
I like the sound of The Stranger. I might give this a try. thanks
