What I've Been Watching Lately

One thing I am most thankful for at the moment is the fact that there is an abundance of good television on at the moment to keep me entertained. I don't really have a 'favourite' genre of TV, I love everything from reality, documentaries, fantasy, drama, give me anything and I'll most likely watch it. I have definitely been making the most of this situation by binge watching TV and even starting a TV show I managed to stay clear from for quite a while.

SU2C Great British Bake Off - Bake Off is my happy place and happy viewing and made even better with celebrities. I mean who doesn't want to watch Tan France, Louis Theroux and Ovie bake? There are currently three episodes on All4 so if you want any baking inspiration or just want some feel-good watching, this will fill in your bake off void. It's sadly the last one next week, but it has totally filled the void and I think it's going to get me in some Easter baking spirit this weekend!

Game of Thrones - Yup, we finally did it. I can't believe I went so long not watching GOT and getting into the hype. We started it just about a week ago and are just halfway through S3, lol, we binge, binge watching at it's best. I mean I don't think I was really prepared for the graphicness of GOT, like how my mother says "she absolutely loves it" concerns me, but I won't lie, it's addictive. I think there are more characters in the show that repulse me and that I hate, but nonetheless, it's quite brilliant!

Our Girl  - I've watched Our Girl from the beginning and even though the massive dramatic twist last series broke my heart in two, if you know, you know . The new series has just begun on BBC One and obviously I'll be watching. I did actually get quite emosh when I watched the first episode. Plus there's a new hot doctor. Great hook if you ask me.

Made In Chelsea - I used to work in reality TV so I always used this as an excuse to have to watch every other reality TV show out there to see how it compared to ours, so I got on the bandwagon of watching Made In Chelsea and not ashamed to say, that I'm still watching it. It's definitely one of my biggest guilty pleasures and it's quite good easy watching.

Liar - Back on our screen for series 2, Liar is an ITV drama/thriller, and I'd love to tell you more about the storyline but...I can't much without exposing it ha! But what I can say, if you're a fan of Big Little Lies, Broadchurch, The Stranger etc, Liar is definitely up your street. I don't particularly like any of the characters in the show at all, but sometimes I don't think you necessarily need to.

  8. We've been watching made in Chelsea and the SU2C Bake Off too. Both such cosy programmes, and definitely something good to keep occupied with. It would be the perfect time to re-watch, or to get into GOT now too! x
