Recent Lifestyle Favourites

And can you believe it, another month gone by! Truth be told, I toyed with the idea of a beauty favourites, and actually laughed internally to myself for the fact that I actually only wear makeup twice a week and one of those days it's usually fancy dress makeup for our quizzes. So instead, I thought I'd share my recent lifestyle favourites including books, TV shows I promise not to mention Game of Thrones one more time on this blog and even some foodie bits.

Dear Edward by Ann Napolitano-  This is an absolutely gorgeous book. The story follows Edward who is the sole survivor of a plane crash that took the lives of his parents, brother and 189 other passengers. I wouldn't call it a 'page turning' book, but it's a heartwarming and yet also uncomfortable and tear jerking in places. It's only 99p at the moment for Kindles so highly recommend it. I've also popped my  Goodreads here as well for any other recommendations!

Six Feet Apart by Luke Combs - Ever since my our trip to Nashville last year I've got very into some country music. I've known a couple of Luke Combs songs for a while, but this new one is absolutely gorgeous. It's written about lockdown and honestly, the first time I listened to it, I cried, it just really hit home "I miss my Mum, I miss my Dad" honestly, all the feels, Luke Combs, smashed it.

Ben's Cookies on UberEats  - So turns out Ben's cookies now delivers to my area and holy moly was this the best revelation this week when we saw them come up on Instagram. If you've had a Ben's Cookie you know for a fact that they are in fact delicious. The milk chocolate and white chocolate

Newlook Green Floral Belted Midi Dress - I am guilty of doing a couple of shopping bits during lockdown, and I've seen that Newlook have some absolutely gorgeous bits in at the moment including this green floral dress. Although I am wearing leggings 6/7 days of the week, there are weekends where I like to shove on a dress and actually make an effort. Plus if and when we do get back to the office, I know this is going to be a perfect dress paired with some white trainers.

After Life - Netflix - I know, I am so bloody late to the party, but oh my goodness I can't believe how ridiculously funny and heartbreaking this show is. I've actually cried from laughter and cried from sadness, and there are so many times in between where I'm not sure what emotion I'm crying from. The story follows Tony, whose wife dies of cancer and it's all about his life and how he goes about coping. Ricky Gervais is absolutely fantastic and can't wait to watch Season 2.

Pasta Evangelist - I am a big fan of artesian pasta and chances are, if there's a fresh pasta restaurant in London, I guarantee I've been to it. We've been meaning to try Pasta Evangelist for absolutely ages, and now seemed like the perfect time. They have an array of different options, whether it's just buying a one off box, or a gift box for someone else of loads of different pasta recipes. They come with everything you need; the fresh pasta, fresh pasta sauce, the cheese, and of course instructions. We've had a couple of them including the Secret Sausage Ragu, the lasagne and oh my god, the Carbonara of Dreams, is in fact. Dreamy!

Let me know in the comments below what you've been loving at the moment and if any of the above are some of your recent favourites!
