How long ago does Love is Blind and Tiger King lockdown feel like? I do think as we've gotten further into lockdown, our shows that we have available to watch are becoming less and less, which is obvious due to sadly so many shows having to be postponed/cancelled, so I thought I would share what I've spent my evenings watching!
Honestly one of the funniest movies I've watched recently. The story follows two Icelandic singers who dream of making it to Eurovision. It's incredibly funny and extremely quick witted. Starring Will Ferell and Rachel McAdams who I swear can play literally any part and Piers Brosnan, this is such a good Friday night film.
Salisbury Poisonings - BBC
A documentary based on real life events of the Salisbury Poisonings, this three part drama recounts the moments leading up to the Salisbury poisonings, duration and aftermath. I remember seeing a lot of it in the press when it happened, but I don't think I fully understood it. It was incredibly interesting to see how they went about shutting down the area and also how it affected so many people.
Below Deck Med - Netflix/hayu
I have mentioned Below Deck on my blog for years, I'm honestly obsessed. If you love reality TV (ie Selling Sunset) you will love Below Deck. It follows a group of stews and deck crew as they work on a chartered boat. Honestly the dramaaaa in this show is brilliant. You not only have the crew drama, but also the people who charter the boats. The requests are ridiculous, but so is the cost of hiring out a boat.
Frozen 2 - Disney +
So my flatmate and I watched Frozen 2 for the first time the other day. To be honest, I didn't really understand the storyline that much, it was a bit different to the first one. There were a couple of songs that I did love, like Into the Unknown and When I'm Older, but I personally would say the first movie was still a better storyline/had better songs.
How To Get Away with Murder - Netflix
I watched How to Get Away with Murder ages ago when it first came out but stopped watching it a while back, but have since picked it back up again. The show follows a group of law students who take a class with a criminal defense lawyer Annalise Keating. Whilst learning from her, they also get involved in crimes themselves. We went full binge on Series 4 and 5 during lockdown, and we thought there were only 5 series, so when we watched the last episode in series 5, we were a bit confused as it left on a cliff hanger. Turns out there is a season 6, so we just need to wait for that to get onto Netflix!
So definitely a bit of a mixture here, let me know in the comments below what you've been watching lately!

DeleteI saw a tweet similar to your opening line here, and I thought, "Wow, it really has been a LONG time since the Tiger King phase of lockdown." :') It's crazy how fast these last few months actually went when it seemed like they were going very slowly whilst we were in the midst of them :') I need to watch Eurovision already! I love Rachel McAdam's movies, and I have yet to watch that one x
