Currently Listening: Podcasts

I went through a phase of listening to loads of podcasts, especially as I had a good 45 minute walking commute to the office, but during lockdown I completely stopped. However now that I'm back into the office for 3/4 days a week, I'm back to my commute and have been listening to quite a few different podcasts.

 The Reality Tea

I've mentioned my reality obsession on this blog for a while, and because I used to work in reality television I definitely watch more than my fair share of it. The Reality Tea podcast is perfect to hear the gossip or 'tea' for some of your favourite shows; DragRace, Selling Sunset, TOWIE, Celebs Go Dating, Love Island, The Circle, Love Is Blind. I love the presenters of this podcast, it's such easy listening and I love all the good gossip you get from outside the shows as well.

Spencer & Vogue

I never watched their TV show, but I listen to this podcast as part of my work, and not being biased, but I think it's bloody hilarious. Spencer Matthews and Vogue Williams's no holds barred podcast, is absolutely stitch-inducing. There's no real theme to the podcast, they essentially talk about everything and anything from parenthood, latest news, TV shows and more. I love the dynamic between this two, Vogue can be absolutely savage and it's just such a good podcast to keep up with. My favourite bit is them reading the brutal reviews as well.

The Michelle Obama Podcast

I've listened to quite a few eps including; President Barack Obama, What Your Mother Never Told You About Health & Across Generations Michelle Obama and her Mentees. Firstly, Michelle is an absolute badass. She's a fabulous role model and her book, documentary and now her podcast are a testament to that. I love how unfiltered she is, not worried to push the boundaries and talk about topics that people in her position would do. It's incredibly thought provoking and its brilliant to hear from such a diverse group of guests.

CaseFiles

Damn, let me say first thing, I'm not entirely sure why the hell I listen to this podcast on my walk home from work alone whilst it's starting to get dark. I've listened to quite a few episodes and essentially each episode revolves around a case that has happened in the past that's either closed or open and tells the story. Some are absolutely harrowing and terrifying, but what I found the most was how bizarre legal and county laws are which allows people to get away with the most heinous crimes. It's hosted by an anonymous Australia man tbh when I first listened I was not into his voice but tbh it's quite literally perfect for this podcast eery. Obviously I wouldn't use the word enjoyed for this podcast, but instead my eyes have been opened to so many cases, and have found it quite fascinating.

    1. I stopped during lockdown as literally there wasn't really a time to listen to them, but I find them a great thing to listen to on my commute. If I commute everyday, I sometimes get bored of music, so different podcasts is nice! xx

  10. I always LOVE when bloggers recommend their favourite/latest podcast listens!! I'm a huge fan of podcasts--in fact, I'm subscribed to far too many, more than I can listen to, so it's usually a matter of sticking to my top 3 and then picking and choosing from the rest :') Will have to check out Spencer & Vogue for sure xx
