ASOS Face + Body Advent Calendar Week 1

I really wanted to do a blog post on what the ASOS advent calendar has inside, however I didn't want to open it up before Christmas obviously don't want to ruin it for myself and you.

I paid £55 for the ASOS Face + Body Advent Calendar  as I got it on 20% off and had £5 left of a gift card and it's already amounted up to that amount in worth by Day 5. So, this is everything I got in my calendar day 1-7.

Day 1

bareMinerals SKINLONGEVITY Vital Power Infusion (£10). I've actually used to have this product before and used it religiously for a while so it's nice to have a miniature back in my collection. It was a nice surprise to have a well-known brand in Day 1 as well. This serum is to be used morning and night after cleansing for a more overall radiant and healthy looking complexion.

Day 2

Emma Hardie Purifying Pink Clay Detox Mask (£15 15ml) . It wouldn't be a beauty advent calendar without a face mask. I've not tried Emma Hardie products before but this mask has incredible reviews online so I'm excited to give it a try. A botanical-rich detoxifying face mask that contributes towards improved skin tone and texture and cannot wait to give it a try!

Day 3

Oh now who doesn't love a sheet mask. Door 3 I think is the biggest door of all the beauty calendar and I'm so excited to give this a go. The Cicapair Tiger Grass Calming Mask (£5.50) is a mask aimed at soothing sensitive skin. I'm much more of a sheet mask kind of person on a regular basis as I find they are less abrasive on my skin so will definitely be doing this one this weekend!

Day 4

I've tried Clinique Moisture Surge (£12 15ml) a couple of times and although it's not my go-to moisturiser I know that a lot of people will be thrilled this is in the advent calendar. This is a cult favourite for so many people and although it's not my moisturiser of choice, I am definitely going to be keeping this handy for any weekend trips as it's such a decent sized mini.

Day 5

I was so excited that there was the First Aid Beauty Cleanser (£9 2 oz) in here. As regular blog readers will know, I'm obsessed with this brand and this is such a good sized product to get in here. First Aid Beauty is a fabulous brand for those with dehydrated and sensitive skin.

Day 6

I knew when I was buying this calendar that there would be a roller in there, which yes, potentially may have swayed me to getting this particular one. I actually thought this was going to be in day 24, but nope, it came at Day 6, when I had a raging hangover and it felt bloody fabulous under my eyes and on my forehead. It's a Psychic Sisters Rose Quartz Mini Roller  (£19.95) and what fabulous value for money!

Day 7

Then today, day 7 was a Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatment (£15 30ml) .  This has such fabulous reviews online and seeing as it's been an absolute age since I've gotten my hair done, it needs a bit of TLC and all the help it can get. I said in 2020 I wanted to be better at using haircare products and I'm excited to give this one a go.

Not going to lie, I'm really enjoying my beauty calendar this year! Did you get one this year and if so, how's the first week of door opening been?

    1. I know I was too. I did quite a lot of research on making sure there were brands and products I knew I would actually use. So I did know what was in it in October, just not the days and tbh I've actually completely forgotten! It was definitely worth it already though xx

  14. This looks like such a great calendar! Even though I'm definitely in the minority of those who don't like sheet masks, the texture is not for me. I really want to try First Aid beauty, and that cleanser sounds fab xx
