Christmas Gift Guide

Happy first of December! Even for all you bah-humbugs, you can't deny, Christmas is now on it's merry merry way! Christmas is definitely going to be a bit different this year, but that doesn’t mean we can’t make it as festive as we possibly can.

I’ve actually completed all of my Christmas shopping which I’m incredibly impressed with myself, and yes, I may have slipped in a few Christmas presents to moi as well. I thought I'd share with you a gift guide on some of the bits I've picked up hopefully none of my family read this post!

Perfume

Perfume is something that I always tend to ask for at Christmas. Of course everyone has their own scent and perfumes that they prefer so it’s a “subtle hint” Christmas ask from me. Around Christmas there are always good sales and Black Friday deals for perfume. My usual favourite is the Chloe Eau De Parfum!

Recipe Books

A present I’ll be gifting to quite a few people (hopefully none who will see this post...) is the Dishoom Cookbook. I’m a massive fan of this restaurant, literally can’t get enough of it both for brunch and dinner. It’s filled with some incredible recipes including their famous breakfast naans and you just have to try the Ruby Chicken I’m there too. I love a recipe book and for those passionate in cooking and food it’s an easy gift! Here's looking at my ex-chef Dad.

Beauty Box Subscription

For all those beauty lovers, a beauty subscription box is always a lovely idea. Whether it's just one box, or a 3/6 month subscription the gift that keeps on giving it gives beauty lovers the opportunity to try new products. The Cohorted Beauty Box* is a lovely luxurious option, take a read of my last review here, but there are loads of on the market including LookFantastic, Birchbox, Glossybox and more. My cousin actually got me one as part of my secret Santa a couple of years ago, and it was such a nice gift!

Book

I love gifting books to people. I have quite a few friends and family members who are big readers and I personally love receiving books especially ones I know they've read and loved. Chic lit wise I'd recommend; In Five Years by Rebecca Serle and This Time Next Year by Sophie Cousens. Fiction wise; The Heart's Invisible Furies by John Boyne, The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and Daisy and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Non-Fiction; Educated by Tara Westover, My Name is Why by Lemn Sissay.

Homeware

Obviously a bit more of a boujee present, White Company candles (or just any candles really) are a lovely gift. I got some fabulous deals at Bicester Village on White Company candles, and think these are a lovely gift for family members. Some of my favourite scents are Winter, Peony and White Tea. They make such a lovely gift to those people who are hard to buy for, who doesn't love a candle! Or if they aren't into candles, how about some cute homeware bits like this Oliver Bonas Star Trinket Dish

Jewellery

Helping support local businesses, jewellery is always a lovely gift. A fellow blogger Cally O’Neil as a gorgeous Etsy shop filled with some beautiful bits. I got myself a pair of Stargazer small hoop earrings recently and they’re absolutely divine and so beautiful! Accessorize, Orelia and Oliver Bonas are two high street shops that always have gorgeous pieces too, these huggie star drops are a present from moi to moi in the black Friday deals, but obviously would make the perfect gift!

  2. Such an amazing list! I love receiving perfumes, even if it's not one I've asked for as I think it's nice that someone picked it with me in mind, if that makes sense. Also loving Cally's jewellery, I've bought some for me and some family members and it's beautiful xx
