Cohorted Beauty Box: January (Vegan)*

[AD Contains Gifted Product] Probably one of my favourite times of the month is receiving my Cohorted beauty box. You know what they say, there are only two types of days in lockdown, days where you get parcels, and days when you don't. And days with parcels are 100x better.

I did a review on last months' box here and it was a fantastic box worth £227. I'm most intrigued to get more beauty in these subscription boxes as they tend to lean a lot more into skincare, and this box looks like it's got some fantastic beauty bits in it and it's completely vegan. All brands and products are vegan meaning it's not derived from animals.

This box I was really excited by as I'd seen a couple of sneak peeks and saw that it would have some brands I know including NailsInc and Urban Decay. Here's what's in the box

BalanceMe Tri-Molecular Hyaluronic Serum RRP £30

Ofra Cosmetics Feelin' Myself Palette RRP £35

Laruce Beauty Flat Foundation Brush RRP £24.54

Laruce Beauty Angle Contour Brush RRP £26.07

Laruce Beauty Highlighter Brush RRP £24.50

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Lip Pencil RRP £16.00

Grace & Stella Dead Sea Mud Mask RRP £16.00

Nails Inc Plant Power Nail Polish - Soul Surfing RRP £9.00

Abel Cobalt Amber Eau De Parfum 1.5ml RRP £5

Total Value: £186

My three favourite products in this box have to be the three Laruce face brushes. These are so incredibly soft. I don't see why brushes should have to have any animal hair on them as there are so many incredible alternatives to use. I'm most excited to try the foundation brush, it's not incredibly dense for a brush, so will be intriguing to see if it buffs the product in.

Secondly I love the look of the Ofra palette. I've not tried Ofra but have always wanted to as a brand. I'm going to give it a try this weekend - the blusher/highlighter shade is stunning!

I'm also loving that Urban Decay is in this box. I have quite a few Urban Decay lip liners and I love the formula of them. They are always so creamy, soft and pigmented. The shade is 'Streak' which is actually quite a stark pink colour, but think this will be nice in the Summer time or under any of my pink lipsticks.

I'm not going to lie, I was a tad gutted that I received this colour of the Nails Inc as the other shade was a pretty pink, because I don't ever wear blue nail polish, but I'm sure I'll get some use out of it in the Summer! 73% Plant Based nail polish collection, every shade is 21 free (free from formaldehyde, acetone, parabens and 18 other ingredients*), vegan, cruelty free and Halal friendly. Also obsessed with this packaging!

Re the other products, I love receiving skincare, I'm quite inundated with skincare bits at the moment, I have a million face masks from advent calendars but I do love that there's a mixture of both skincare and makeup this month! I'd love to see more nail varnishes and beauty bits in future boxes!

Let me know if you've got a subscription box this month and any products you love/were thrilled were in it!
