5 Recipes To Try This Lockdown

We're sick of banana bread. Honestly, I'm sick of it. I've made too much of it and I know, it's the best way to use up leftover bananas, but I just can't take it anymore! So this lockdown I've decided I'm going to up my recipe game and try some new recipes and if you're sick and bored of the same relentless recipes - hopefully this will give you some inspiration!

Firstly, one that I've done before but included in this because I did just do it in Lockdown (pictured here) is my Gooey Terry's Chocolate Orange Recipe  I made these just over a year ago now and I love them. I'm obsessed with Terry's chocolate orange and anything chocolate orange, so to turn them into brownies is just a no brainer. Something I did a little different this time was drizzle a couple of White Terry's Chocolate Orange on top which gave it a bit more of an aesthetically pleasing dimension to them. Obviously between two of us a whole batch is a tad too much, so neighbours, friends from a distance of course are getting these too!

I've wanted to give Brownie Cookies a go for a while and after doing a lot of research these Tuttu Dolci Salted Brownie Cookies will be on my list next. We have a pretty decent cookie recipe rota going on in this flat, but I'm always here to try new ones! My favourite baking recipes are ones that don't require ridiculous prep time just because I'm lazy or hard to find ingredients look my local supermarket is a Tesco Express so these look great.

Jane's Pattiserie is one of my favourite food and baking blogs to follow, all of her recipes are epic and every one I've tried is faultless. I've tried quite a few of her recipes, but any of her rolo recipes are just a winner for me. The Jane's Pattiserie Rolo Rocky Road literally includes everything I like. Marshmallows, chocolate, caramel, biscuits - yummmm

My flatmate made these a while back but I'd love to give them a go and jazz them up, Madeleines a small bite sized small cake from France are delicious and actually one of my favourites. The SupermanCooks Chocolate Dipped Pistachio Madeleines look delicious, and chocolate and pistachio is one of my favourite combinations, a bit of a different take on the original madeleines!

Lastly I want to make some s’mores brownies. I don’t have a recipe in mind but I’d probably use this cookie recipe (link here) and just exchange mini eggs for chocolate, digestives and roll the marshmallow in the middle.

I need all the baking recipe inspo so let me know if you’ve made anything fabulous recently in the comments below!

I know it's not sweet, but last night I've tried another lockdown trend - the tik tok baked feta pasta and OMG. It was delish! Totally recommeded <3 Xx
