e.l.f Makeup Haul

I know, a makeup haul. What am I thinking, during lockdown. When I wear makeup twice a week. Max. I've been on the search for a new concealer and I went to Instagram and had so many people recommending the e.l.f one. I thought I may as well buy a couple of bits from the brand as I've never tried much from it and they had a promotion on Superdrug where you spend £15 and got a free vegan makeup bag, and alas here we are. No regrets.

e.l.f is an extremely affordable drugstore and cruelty free brand. I did a bit of research on a couple of the recommended products out there for my mini haul and here's what I got. Hysterically e.l.f now have a sale on Superdrug so get buying!

e.l.f Hydrating Satin Camo Concealer

Shout out to Parie from Class & Glitter who recommended I buy this concealer. I used it the other day for the first time and am loving it. I needed a new concealer and I haven't been impressed with any that I've used so far so naturally went to Instagram to ask. This one came out and I'd been meaning to try e.l.f for a while so thought this would be the perfect start. A long-wear liquid concealer that provides crease-proof full coverage while hydrating your skin. It's a full coverage concealer but with a satin finish. I would say this is a medium coverage concealer which is perfect and I'm using it under my eyes. It's brightening, moisturising and I don't see any creasing or product gathering. At only £5 it's a real steal!

Then because I had to buy £15 worth of products to get the free vegan bag, I took to the internet to see what other product people recommend. KathleenLights one of my go-to YouTubers said that this was a gorgeous highlighter and as I'm nearing my theBalm Mary Lou, I picked this up. A very intense champagne highlighter, but this is going to look gorgeous on the cheeks for everyday just need a light hand.

e.l.f Bite Size Eyeshadows 'Cream & Sugar'

Another product recommendation from a blogger, I saw KatieEmmaBeauty write up a post about these bite-size eyeshadows and knew I had to get this Cream & Sugar. At a bargain of £3 per palette, you can't really go wrong. I went for this palette as the two middle shimmer shades looked perfect for everyday, and how fabulous will this be to travel around with? I definitely will be picking up more of these.

e.l.f SRLSY Satin Lipstick 'Nectar'

Not a product I needed at all, but to reach that £15 I thought I'd try out one of their lipsticks. This was honestly, the first one that acme up and I thought it looked like a lovely everyday shade. I wore this the other day yup you heard me right, I wore makeup and I really like this. The formula is lovely and although it's not the longest lasting lipstick, what can you expect for £3!

e.l.f Vegan Mystery Bag

Now the contents of the vegan makeup bag were actually more than what I purchased. Unfortunately they're no longer doing the vegan bag promotion on Superdrug. Here's what was included. e.l.f makeup remover cleansing cloths. e.l.f Daily Face Cleanser, e.l.f HD Powder, e.l.f Angled Makeup Brush & e.l.f lip stain in 'Berry.' As my skin is a bit of a sensitive one I'm not sure the cleanser will be for me, but all the other products I'm quite impressed with. Oddly, you can't buy these products by themselves on the Superdrug, so they must be exclusive to the vegan mystery bag.

Let me know if you've got anything from e.l.f and if so if you have any other recommendations!

    1. I think it's really great how affordable it is, obviously the packaging is by no means luxurious and a bit flimsy but what do you expect for £3 haha! x

  5. What a fab haul! The mystery bag sounds great, it's good to know they're exclusive in a way because that way you know it's not just old stock they couldn't shift. I have that highlighter too and mine is much more dry and doesn't give a lot of pay off, I'm wondering if I got a dud. Great post!xx

  16. I recently purchased one of the e.l.f. Bitesize Palettes and I love mine! For £3, the quality is honestly unreal and will definitely be a great option for when you're on the go. I'm dying to try out the concealer, so when my Tarte runs out, I'll be getting that one to try as well
