Mother's Day Gift Guide

It's Mother's Day on the next Sunday 14th of March, and with us unable to see loved-ones as much as we wish we could, I put together a gift guide of some of the things you can get mothers and mothering figures alike to show them you care.

My mum is particularly lucky in the fact that she actually gets to celebrate two mother's day's, one UK one in March, and another Swiss one in May.

Bloom & Wild, The Happy Blossoms

Flowers are the perfect way to show them you care, whether that's by sending them Bloom & Wild Letterbox flowers straight to their door or The Happy Blossoms Dried flowers, nothing is a pick-me up like flowers.  I've included my Bloom & Wild refer code here which gives you £10 off!

White Company Candles

I include candles in every single one of my gift guides mainly due to the fact that I love being gifted them as you can never have too many candles in my opinion. With it being Spring one of my favourite scents is The White Company Peony Candle as it's that perfect floral Spring scent. However I've just seen online that they seem to either be sold out or no longer selling them? Instead I think this Spring Signature Candle is a perfect alternative to add Spring to any home with notes of honeysuckle and Jasmine.

Books

My mum and I are big readers and I love getting her books as presents. Last year I got her The Beekeeper of Aleppo (which is now come back to me and on my TBR) and I think books are such a lovely gift to give them. Of course everyone's taste in books is differently, but a couple I've seen that my mum would love include; The Last Train to London by Meg Waite Clayton, Child of All Nations Irmgard Keun and Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart.

Photobook

I mentioned photobooks before in my post 5 Things To Do This Lockdown. My mum has been obsessed with photobooks so I actually made her one for this Mother's Day of all of our holidays together. I used Vista print for my mum's and I think they're such good quality and so easy to use the design on their website. It's a lovely gift and especially when you're unable to see your mum this year, it's a nice way to remind them of all the memories and fun before all of this!

Fizz and Fun Mother's Day Package by Escape Hunt

Whether you're living at home with your mum, or will be celebrating virtually, this is the perfect activity based gift you can do. This packet includes a bottle of Princess Prosecco - Prosecco Rose Doc and a copy of Escape Hunt's Print & play game, A Curious Tea Party. A Curious Tea Party is a print and play game which can be played together in person or via video chat (just make sure everyone has a printed copy) and you and your mum, or mother figure-alike can play! I love Alice in Wonderland, it's one of my favourite books and my mum loves all things experiential to do as well!

Favourite Perfume

Something I actually got my mum for Christmas, but is always a lovely gift for Mother's Day is picking up a bottle of their favourite perfume. Superdrug, Look Fantastic and Boots always have some great deals online for perfume!

Let me know in the comments below what you're gifting your mum/mothering figure this year as I love seeing different ideas!
