My Favourite Elizabeth Arden Products

Elizabeth Arden has slowly become one of my all time favourite skincare brands in the past couple of years.

I think this was my first ever Elizabeth Arden product (obviously not this bottle as I've gone through many of them by now). This is one of my all time favourite and holy grail product and something I will never leave the country or even the house without. An award winning cream, this cream is a saviour for basically everything. Burns, dry skin, cuts, grazes, dry lips. Originally called "8 hour cream" as it's made to heal skin within that time, which I can vouch for okay I haven't tried the exact time but definitely overnight.  As I suffer from such dry skin, I find that lathering my skin with this is sometimes the only way to heal it, cracked lips beyond repair, dry patches and hangnails (damn the hangnails) are just some of the few ways I use it. You need this product in your life!

If carrying a huge tube of the protectant isn't for you, or you want something less heavy and thick for a lip balm, this is for you. I think the tinned miniature version is only available as an airport exclusive which is what I've got (and need the travel to open up again soon so I can replace mine). The formula of the lip balm is essentially more of a balm rather than a "gel" so is less thick and more 'wearable' but does essentially the same. I use this more for day-to-day lip protecting, whereas the protectant I use to fully lather in the evenings.

As I have such dry but sensitive skin, I find sometimes a lot of exfoliators are quite abrasive and too intense for my skin. Rather than a full scrub on my face, I need something that re-balances out my skin by gentle exfoliating. Whenever I go away and my skin sometimes gets too much skin or my skin gets a bit weirdly textured, I use this and noticeably I see a massive difference.

My flatmate got a random sample of the White Tea perfume and I fell in love with the scent and I thought it was going to be such a great scent for Spring/Summer. White Tea isn't something I usually would associate myself with, I like quite floral scents but with a mustier undertone (think Chloe over Marc Jacobs). This is a pretty scent but without being overpowering and overly sweet, I find it sophisticated and crisp. Also a fraction of the price of some other perfumes!

Top Notes: sparkling Italian mandarin, calming clary sage essence, sensual sea breeze accord and fresh Japanese White fern.

Middle Notes: White Tea Extract, Mate Absolute Paraguay, White irish accord, sweet and spicy Turksih Rose Absolute and nutty sapucaya Atsmopheric

My flatmate got me the shower gel for Christmas and I love using this shower gel (on days I actually see people or go out otherwise Sanex will do) and I love that the scent lingers all day even if I'm not wearing the perfuming. I instantly feel clean using it, even though it's perfumed, it foams up and I don't find it irritates my skin at all.

Let me know in the comments below if you've tried anything from Elizabeth Arden and if so what's your favourite product!
