My Favourite bareMinerals Products

[ad contains gifted products] I've talked a lot about bareMinerals as a brand and how it's one of my favourite products to use and wear. I think the first ever product I purchased from bareMinerals was either their iconic Complexion Rescue or their Stroke of Light Concealer (which is actually now discontinued sadly). I've loved this brand, it's lightweight, natural and the brand ethos are incredible: aiming to produce clean, cruelty-free makeup and skincare products that never compromise on performance. So I thought, from my collection, I would share my favourite picks from the brand are.

To start with I have to talk about the Gen Nude range. The majority of my favourite bits are from this range which contains products that aim for a subtle finish, that fits your skin-tone and skin type but still gives flawless and colourful results. I am obsessed with the bareminerals Gen Nude 'Neutral' Palette and the bareminerals Gen Nude 'Rose' Palette*. I don't think this brand gets enough hype for the performance of their eyeshadows, they are up there when it comes to quality for me and give off the same results as your Too Faced shadows. They're buttery and smooth and pack a punch in colour. Don't just take my word for it, look at those swatches!

For lip products, the bareMinerals Gen Nude Matte Liquid Lipcolour and the bareMinerals Mineralist Hydra Smoothing Lipstick* are gorgeous products. The lipcolour is like your liquid lipstick but it's got a gorgeous moussey consistency which is super soft and comfortable to wear. Likewise the hydra smoothing lipstick is by far one of my favourite lipsticks I've tried. The consistency is more of a sheen finish but with still great pigmentation and it's hydrating and also the packaging is gorgeous too.

The last Gen Nude product to shout about is the bareMinerals Gen Nude Metallic Liquid Eyeshadow*. I actually got these as part of a Christmas gift-set and I adore them. With one swipe, they add a beautiful shimmer of colour on your lids and the pigmentation is next level in these. They're not super tacky so you can easily use them as a base and apply additional eyeshadow on top or just leave them as the main shade.

One of my favourite recent loves is the bareMinerals Strength and Lengthen Eyebrow Gel*.  I usually go for a coloured brow gel but I have to say I'm completely converted to a clear one. Although they do offer up coloured ones as well, I've been loving the clear one. This brow gel is not only filled with a serum that helps strengthen your brows, it keeps them sturdy throughout the day too. I also find it distributes the product really well without getting clumpy which I find with a lot of brow gels.

When it comes to concealer I've been using two different types. Firstly I've been using the e.l.f hydrating camo concealer for brightening and highlighting, but for covering, the bareMinerals Original Mineral Concealer* has been my go-to. It's got amazing coverage and I find that it easily covers up my blemishes without being too heavy.

For my base, I've always loved the bareMinerals Mineral Veil, but they've now got the bareMinerals Illuminating Mineral Veil* which, for anyone who suffers with dull or dry skin, it offers up a sheen-alternative bringing a bit more to your skin. It's super finely milled as a powder, so a little goes a long way, and I never find it looks cakey or heavy on my skin.

I wouldn't dare write a favourite bareMinerals post without including my forever and much loved bareMinerals Complexion Rescue. I've done quite a few posts about this base including a full review here. If you're looking for a lightweight base for everyday in the Summer, where you want something that can just even out your skin tone or need something for those warmer days, this is the perfect base. I apply this with both a sponge or the bareMinerals Smoothing Facial Makeup Brush* and find it works well with both. It's perfect if you've got dry/dehydrated skin and with an SPF of 30, it's your go-to base in the Summer!

Some products I definitely want to give a try include the bareMinerals Gen Nude 'Blonzer' (I mean a bronzer/blush duo, sounds gorgeous), the Hydra Smoothing Lipstick 'Insight' or 'Abundance' and the Endless Glow Highlighter in 'Free' as I can't believe I've not tried a bareMinerals highlighter as of yet! Let me know in the comments below what your favourite bareMinerals product is!
