4 Nail Polishes for Summer

[ad contains gifted products]

I think we can all admit that we can finally get excited that Summer has somewhat, finally presented itself! Armed with a bit of a sunburn on my chest and arms, I've full embraced the sun coming out the past couple of days! In spirit, I thought I would share 4 nail colours I'll be wearing this Summer to both brighten up my outfits and get in the mood for all the sunshine!

I've never been that big of a fan of blue nail varnish, but I wore this the other week and I've become a bit obsessed with it. I've always loved Nails inc nail polishes, the quality is always brilliant and find that you don't need to layer to get full opaqueness. It's definitely the nail polish that lasts the longest without chipping in my opinion, and the colour selection is fabulous! Soul Surfing is such a lovely bright blue shade and as it's part of the Plant Power range, it's vegan, cruelty free and '21 Free' meaning it's free from 21 harmful ingredients including acetone and parabens.

Heading into the bright shades is Hot Salsa, a bright orangey pink, verging on Neon. After Nails Inc, these Maybelline Superstay 7 days polishes are up there with my favourite formula. They have a great lasting power and there are so many colours in this range. If I'm feeling bright and bold I love to wear this one, it's a perfect holiday colour, both for the toes and nails!

Although not a bright colour, Ballet Slippers is one of my all time favourite ever nail varnishes. An iridescent sheer pink shade, I wear this shade all year round. It's a gorgeous feminine and classy shade if you like something a bit more subtle on your nails but still makes your nails look kept and tidy. If I were to get gel nails for a holiday through the Summer, I am most likely going for a shade just like this.
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Nail Colour - 333 Peachy Breeze*

Similar to Hot Salsa, Peachy Breeze is a brighter pinky peach shade. This nail varnish does take a good three layers to get full coverage, but I'm obsessed with the colour of this nail polish. As it's a bit lighter, I wouldn't necessarily wear it as a toe colour, but it makes a lovely Summery bright nail colour. The Sally Hansen insta-dri range allows you to apply and it quickly dries within a minute. There are so many colours in this range, and I'm desperate to give more a try!

Let me know in the comments below what you'll be wearing on your nails this Summer!

  3. The Nails Inc. shade is absolutely beautiful! I don't wear much blue nail polish either, but I'd love a shade like this. I also love pastel blue. All your picks are great and colours I'd wear myself! :)
