6 Pink Lip Products For Summer

[ad contains gifted products] I've always and will probably always be more of a nude lipstick kind of girl. However I've really been enjoying wearing more bright pink lipsticks and I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite ones in my collection. Annoyingly I think some of them are discontinued (which probably is a sign I need to chuck them because they are old) , so I've tried giving you alternatives for them, but if you have any please let me know! Summer is here and "on Wednesdays we wear pink" (she says posting this blog on a Thursday - I should be better organised.

Mac Cosmetics 'Speak Louder'  - I'm actually gutted because apparently this lipstick is discontinued and I have no idea why. This is a beautiful bright pink lipstick, the one the one that's bold and bright and you can easily wear in the Summer with an all white or all black outfit to make it pop. Although it's discontinued, shade quite similar to it is Fusion Pink

Mac Cosmetics 'Fanfare' Okay I definitely need to chuck this lipstick away 100% as it is old, but clearly because it's not been discontinued, it must be a firm favourite among the lipsticks. I adore this lipstick. If you're looking for a pretty pink, one that isn't too bright or bold, this one is perfect. A mid-tone yellow pink, it's perfect for everyday wear and the Cremesheen formula means it's super comfortable and glossy too.

Marc Jacobs New Nudes Sheer Gel Lipstick  - This is probably one of my more boujee lipsticks I owned and I just love it.  Firstly the packaging is magnetic so it makes this super satisfying clicking noise when it clicks with the lid. Secondly, it's a gorgeous sheer lipstick this one verges a tad more on the peach side when put side by side with the other pink products, but it's still very much pink. This is usually my go-to Summer pink lipstick at work as I find it super comfortable to wear.

I have two of the Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tints* in both 'Berry Lit' and 'Pink IRLand they are such a fun alternative lip product. They give me a little nostalgia both back to lip tints but also the cushion reminds me a lot of the Maybelline Eye Eraser Concealer. Whilst you can't get the most accurate lip application, I quite like having more of a smudge look rather than a super harsh line. As these are a tint, I find they last a long time and you don't need to continuously re-apply.

I have quite a few lipglosses and ones that are nudey pinks but the Relvon Plumping Lip Creme 'Peony*  is probably one of my true pink lipglosses I own. A bright pink this fits so well with Mac's 'Speak Louder'. I love the formula of these lip cremes, they plump your lips, they're juicy and although if you apply too much it can get quite heavy, they make your lips look so shiny!

Let me know in the comments below what your favourite pink lip products are!

  2. I'm the same, I usually prefer to wear nude lipsticks but I have really been liking wearing pink lipsticks recently when I do wear makeup. I like that they just make your makeup look "pop" and automatically make you look and feel more summery if that makes sense x

  4. Maybe this summer I'll wear lipstick more often than I've done since the beginning of the pandemic! I do miss wearing it as a nice lipstick always completes a makeup look. Mac lipsticks are always the way to go! I love Fanfare!

  11. I've never been one for the bright shades, as I don't think they suit me, so Fanfare is really appealing to me! Other than that, those revlon ones look so intriguing, and I wanna pick up the plumping one. I usually just stick to lipbalm and maybe a light pink gloss, but I've also been reaching for CT's pillowtalk lipstick lately x
