5 Everyday Lipsticks for National Lipstick Day

[ad contains gifted products]

Happy #NationalLipstickDay everyone! Now I've become a total lipstick obsessesee, I definitely do not need or even get through as many lipsticks than I am currently hoarding. However I thought I'd share just a coupe of my all time favourite everyday lipsticks [essentially all those that are nude/pink shades] with you. These are my top ones for colour and formula and it's no surprise that bareMinerals and Charlotte Tilbury make the majority of my favourites.

bareMinerals Mineralist Hydra Smoothing Lipstick* in the shades 'Grace'* and 'Memory' are just those perfect everyday lipsticks. Grace is a stunning light-pink nude whereas 'Memory' is a slightly darker pink. The formula of these lipsticks is second to none. At £20 each, they remain in that affordable bracket but the formula is high quality. These lipsticks are moisturising, pigmented and incredibly comfortable to wear too.

My most worn  lipsticks that have stood the test of time (and probably most purchased_ will probably come at no surprise. They are two Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks. The first one which the entirety of the blogging world is sick and tired of hearing about is Charlotte Tilbury's Matte Revolution 'Pillow Talk'. Whilst this is more of a darker nude pink lipstick, with a brush of clear lipgloss or the matching lip gloss, it brightens the shade up that little more for the Summer days.

Lastly, definitely a peach more than a pink lipstick, Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G lipstick in 'Bitch Perfect'  is one of my most worn lipsticks in Summer. With a gorgeous shimmery sheen undertone, this is perfect to wear everyday when you're looking for more of a subtle shade.

Marc Jacobs Beauty 'Eat Cake'  When I want a brighter pink without it being a hot-pink and still sitting in the realm of a nude and 'everyday' colour, I love reaching for this one. This is definitely the creamiest of all the formulas, but it is a must sheerer formula so something to note as it won't last as long as it's incredibly glide-y. This is a rosey pink nude and a little bit more muted than your hot pinks. I definitely want to try more Marc Jacobs lipsticks, and at £20 they too are quite reasonable for a higher end lipstick.

  5. These are all so beautiful! With very subtle difference in shades too. Whenever I do wear lipstick these days (which is not often) I always go for a pinkish nude, a bit like the Marc Jacobs shade! x
