Recent Charlotte Tilbury Purchases

I don't think you can enter the Charlotte Tilbury shop in Covent Garden without leaving with at least one thing. Or many things in my case. My flatmate and I recently went to the shop to pickup some new bits (due to unfortunate circumstances where a lot of our makeup was stolen) and firstly, I wanted to say a massive thank you to Hailey and Matt who helped us and honestly were absolute gold when we were flapping around picking up bits.

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Touch Light Wand 'Pillow Talk' - My flatmate previously had this and because I needed a new highlighter I thought I just had to get this. These light wants are almost liquid/cream highlighters but with colour undertones. This one is in the shade Pillow Talk meaning I use this both as a highlighter on the cheek but a bit of a duo as a blusher as well as it's got that famous pink shade to it.

Charlotte Tilbury Eyes to Mesmerise 'Champagne' - I think this is one of those products that I will forever keep buying no matter what. These little pots are to-die-for when doing your makeup. The shade Champagne, is your perfect everyday shade to wear either on it's own, or my favourite as a base before eyeshadow.

Charlotte Tilbury 'Pillow Talk' Lipstick - Grim to think there is someone out there using my lipstick, but if it's going to be a lipstick, best it be Pillow Talk because it's iconic. Obviously I had to re-buy this beauty because truth be told I can't go a week without wearing it.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation - Now we got part of the deal where if you spent £75 in store, which is easy to do we got a free full sized bottle of this foundation, which honestly blew my little mind. Wee also got properly shade matched which was super helpful. I've been using this for a couple of days, and I have to say I'm not entirely sold which is so unlike me because I love all CT stuff. It's not the best formula for my dry skin and find that it disappears and gets patchy around my nose and chin throughout the day. I've tried it with a couple of primers, but am going to get it with my Smashbox Primerizer and see if that makes a difference. If you swear by this foundation, let me know the best primers/applications please!

We also got a some amazing little miniatures as well from the team who were just super kind including  mini Magic Creams which I will absolutely be taking away with me at some point and the teeny flawless powder which are so handy to have in your handbag for emergency powder!

  7. Pillow Talk lipstick is such a classic, I really love it a lot...
I alctually really like the foundation too! It's so full coverage though, so I usually keep it for the colder months. But the consistency of it is amazing and it really sticks all day, so worth the investment!

  8. Charlotte Tilbury always makes amazing products and shade to go back to - like Pillow Talk for example. I haven't worn foundation anymore for a couple years now, but my skin isn't great right now so maybe I should try one of their foundations. Not sure about this specific one if it gets patchy though! I used to have their Magic Foundation and really liked it!

  11. Gorgous photos as always Caroline! I love a good CT haul, I'm going to Liverpool next week and its on my list to treat myself to some new makeup. I recently got Pillow talk for my birthday and its now become my go-to lipstick replacing CT Secret Salma. I've still never tried her foundation because I've seen mixed reviews similar to what you're saying. If you haven't tried it already I swear by YSL Touche Eclat - worn it for years and its never let me down xxx
