A Christmas Gift Guide

[ad contains gifted products] It's the most wonderful time of the year! I think this is probably the latest I've ever done a Christmas Gift Guide, so excuse me, not only has work been incredibly busy but I have absolutely zero idea how we are done with 2021. It baffles me. This year has gone disgustingly quick if you ask me. But if you, like me, haven't sorted out your Christmas presents yet, here are some easy-wins and easy to get hold of gifts!

Jewellery

I find jewellery some of the easiest and best things to gift people. If you know what someone loves, I don't think you can really ever go wrong. I've got a couple of places I love buying jewellery from. Some of my favourites include Daniel Wellington. My Daniel Wellington watch is my favourite jewellery piece I wear everyday. It's super dainty and they have such an array of DW watches on their website. I also have a matching gold and rose gold bangle (which I do actually wear together as the rose gold isn't that pink and looks more copper.) I have my eyes on a DW gold ring that matches all my jewellery and whilst annoying they no longer have a Covent Garden store (although I did see one in Paris when I was there on the weekend) if you know what someone loves and their sizes it's super easy to buy.

Other places I love buying bits from include Accessorize and Orelia, but I also love supporting smaller businesses so love searching on NotOnTheHighStreet and Etsy for some dainty pieces!

Bodycare

If you aren't big on gifting those big body-care gift sets that you aren't sure if any of them actually get used, I recommend buying some individual bits instead. I love gifting people 'sleep' products, so anything that essentially is lavender scented and aimed at giving people a better night's sleep. Some of my favourite products include; This Works 'Stress Check Kind Hands' Handcream (everyone loves and needs handcream in Winter/with all the sanitiser), Neom Perfect Night's Sleep Pillow Mist, and the ThisWorks Sleep Candles

Another body care product I love gifting are Epsom salts. I regularly have a bath and love a good Epsom Salt so am always very happy to receive these. I've had quite a few of the Sunday Rain Bath Crystal Salts and you can now get them from quite a few places like Boots, ASOS, SkinnyDip and Oliver Bonas. There are also loads of smaller businesses that do smaller Epsom Salts that make a fantastic stocking filler like these ones from Clarity Blend Aromatherapy  and these ones from London Supplements.

Haircare

Personally I think haircare is something that a lot of people don't actually gift (mainly because it can be difficult if you aren't sure on everyone's preference) but this year I am actually going to be gifting some. For generic gifting that would work for all hair types, products like the AVEDA Damage Remedy Daily Hair Repair is something that I actually received in a beauty advent calendar and have repurchased multiple times. A great gift to give to anyone who colours their hair or uses a lot of hair tools, another alternative is the Kérastase Resistance Ciment Thermique which is also brilliant for hair breakage.

For anyone who colours their hair, specifically blondes, I love anything with purple shampoo. As it tends to be more on the pricier side, it's a nice gift to actually get someone. The Kerastase Masque Ultra Violet is a fantastic nourishing deep purple masque that removes any brassiness and yellow tones from dyed hair. I've actually got this mask for my mum this year. Also the Charles Worthington Take Away Colour Plex Toning Shampoo and Conditioner make a fantastic stocking gift for those who love to go away and travel and can take away these on their holidays.

Makeup

One of my favourite brands to gift for beauty and makeup has to be bareMinerals. Not only because its my personal favourite makeup brand, but they have such a wide variety of products. Some of my favourites to gift would have to be their eyeshadow palettes including the Mineralist Eyeshadow Palette* (which is eco-friendly and fully recyclable) , the Gen Nude Eyeshadow Palettes* are gorgeous and are so blendable, come with a fantastic mirror and perfect for travel too. Their Gen Nude Metallic Liquid Eyeshadows* are also perfect for the festive season, if you hunt around as well you might be able to find a snazzy little trio which has miniatures of all three shades. The bareMinerals lip products are second to none in my none, I have reviewed the lip products including the bareMinerals Lip-Gloss Balms which have become one of my favourite makeup products this year, along with the bareMinerals Mineralist Hydra Smoothing Lipsticks*  which are just amazing quality and would make fantastic gifts.

Let me know in the comments below what products you'll be gifting this year that are new! I'm quite a stickler for buying the same things for people so can always do with more inspo!

  1. I used to love gifting makeup to friends, but now I typically gift candles or body care - everyone needs these! Your ideas are great. I don't tend to gift jewellery but it's a nice idea and good for a change! :)
